Table Score — Privacy policy

In short

Table Score is a scorekeeper for board games and card games. Your games stay on your phone and the app works offline: no account, no ads, no analytics. Only the purchase of Table Score Pro goes through the store and our payment provider (see “Purchases”).

Data stored on your device

• The players you create: name (or nickname), colour and optional symbol.
• Games: chosen game, players, settings, scores of each round, start and end dates.
• The language chosen in the settings.

This data stays in the app's local storage on your phone. The publisher has no access to it. It is erased if you delete players or games in the app, or if you uninstall the app.

Exports and sharing you trigger

When you ask for it, the app creates a file on your device and opens the system share sheet: scoreboard image (PNG), export of a game (CSV) or full backup (JSON). You choose where it goes (messaging, email, storage…); the app never sends anything by itself.

Restoring a backup only reads the file you select in the system document picker.

Permissions

• Vibration (Android): the phone vibrates when the timer ends.
• Internet access (Android): permission declared by default by the app's framework (Expo). The app's only network exchange concerns the purchase of Table Score Pro (see “Purchases”); your games and players are never sent. Links (rule sources, this page) open in your browser.
• Add to photos (iOS): asked only if you choose “Save Image” for the scoreboard in the share menu. The app adds the image and never reads your photos.
• No camera, microphone, location, contacts or photo reading permission is requested. The screen stays on in table mode and during the timer, which requires no permission.

Purchases

Table Score Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Payment is handled by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play; the publisher never receives your payment details.

To check that a purchase was made and restore it on another device, the app uses the RevenueCat service (RevenueCat, Inc., United States). It receives an anonymous purchase identifier created by the app, the purchase receipt passed on by the store (product, date, store country) and technical information (device model, system and app version). No games, no player names, no email. Purpose: unlock Pro and restore it; this data is not used for advertising or tracking. RevenueCat's policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

Children

The app collects no personal data, whatever the user's age; only a purchase, if one is made, goes through the store and RevenueCat as described above.

Trademarks and unofficial sheets

Score sheets are unofficial. Game names mentioned belong to their publishers; the app is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. A publisher who wants a sheet removed can ask at the contact address below and it will be taken down.
